They are avalable either unplated self colour steel finish or a decorative brass plated finish The are a loose pin version available which are used extensively to hang internal doors. 90mm and 100mm sizes are available and finished as either brass plated, zinc plated, polished chrome and 100mm in satin chrome The hinge construction is made of 2 leaves with the "knuckle" running down the middle connecting the 2 leaves and the pin is removable. A tip is to keep this pin oiled or smeared with some vaseline for really free movement. The length is measured down the knuckle or the side of the hinge The width is the overall measurement of the hinge lying flat with the leaves open.
