product identification numbers are provided.

2. GPSR Compliance Documentation: Products will be shipped with documentation containing all necessary information to allow the consumer to exercise their rights under the GPSR legislation, including clearly defined steps to follow when reporting safety issues.
3. Certificates of Compliance: Products subject to specific European standards will include certificates of compliance.
4. Declaration of Conformity: Where applicable, we provide a Declaration of Conformity to confirm compliance
with all relevant safety directives and regulations.
Under the GPSR, consumers have the following rights:
1. Right to Safe Products: Consumers are entitled to products that do not pose any risk to their health and safety.
2. Right to Information: Consumers have the right to receive clear and comprehensive information about the product, including safety warnings and instructions.
3. Right to Return: Consumers can return or exchange products that do not meet safety standards or are defective. (The DIY4U (NI) Ltd returns policy is clearly outlined on our website).
4. Right to Remedies: In case of unsafe products, consumers are entitled to appropriate remedies, including
repair, replacement, or refund.
Under the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), online retailers have several key obligations to ensure the safety of the products they sell. The main responsibilities and obligations are shown below:

• Provide clear and comprehensive product descriptions, including technical specifications, intended use, and safety warnings.
• Ensure that all safety information is easily understandable and available in the language of the consumer.

• Include the name, postal address, and email address of the “manufacturer” or the “responsible economic operator” if the manufacturer is outside the EU.
• Ensure that products are properly labeled with necessary safety information, either on the product itself, its packaging, or in accompanying documents.
3. Accident Reporting:
• Report any accidents caused by a product to the competent authorities via the Safety Business Gateway as soon as they become aware of it.
• Cooperate with authorities during investigations and follow up on any safety issues.
4. Product Recalls and Safety Warnings:
• Inform consumers directly and immediately in case of a product recall or safety alert, using clear and understandable language.
• Offer remedies such as repair, replacement, or refund for recalled products.
5. Risk Analysis and Technical Documentation:
• Conduct internal risk analyses and prepare technical documentation for each product, detailing the risk assessment and safety measures taken.
6. Consumer Communication:
• Provide channels for consumers to submit complaints and obtain information about product safety issues, such as phone numbers and email addresses.

investigate any safety concerns raised by consumers.
7. Cooperation with Market Surveillance Authorities:
• Work with market surveillance authorities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and respond promptly to their requests.
• Ensure that all products listed on the platform meet EU safety standards and remove any non-compliant
items.
