About our door wedges
Door Wedges are a handy addition to the home. How many times does the door need to be temporarily held open to allow unrestricted access when carrying in shopping or other items when both hands are full?
We offer a Rubber door wedge, whilst more expensive that the plastic model, is the most effective on most floor surfaces especially tiled or smooth wood floors which always cause issues. Its heavy duty rubber construction means it will stand up to wear and tear and a lot of abuse.
The most effective way to secure to door is to hold the door open and place the wedge on the floor thin edge leading and as far away from the hinge side as possible. Push it below the door until firm and the with your foot on top of the visible end to stop it moving, pull the door towards you until firm. The alternative is to tap the visible end in below the door whilst holding the door steady.

The Budget version is the Plastic door wedge which works in the same principle as the rubber one. Due to its hollow braced design, it is not as robust as the solid construction of its rubber alternative. Its flexible characteristics means it is suitable for most floor surfaces.
